Dust to Dawn is an pixel art indie action RPG with a unique aesthetic revolving around light and darkness.
In the game, the player leads a caravan of nomads facing an encroaching darkness in an abandoned giant’s house. They will use our unique lighting tech to explore, defeat enemies, and illuminate the darkest corners of the once-opulent house.
Asset Details
An unique feature of this game is using 3D dynamic lighting system to help 2D spirte achieving a pop-up book like art style in a dark environment.
I successfully reached the desired outcome by breaking down the sprites into layers, then arranging the sprites in Unity.
